This month’s event takes place on the 30th of November at the usual venue of The Other Place, South Main Street at 7pm. This months event is “Card Games”. We shall be playing everything from “Take Two” to “Spoons” and everything in between. Feel free to bring along more ideas!

We will have a few decks of cards so people can play what every they want against new or old friends!

So come along!

As usual it will cost €2 to participate and this money will go directly to The Other Place to support it.

Just a quick note to also say that Decembers Event will take place on the 14th of December due to the Christmas break

Just a quick post to thank everyone who voted for us at the Cork REBEL Awards where we won the “REBEL Award for Outstanding Social Group of the Year”. It was an honour and privilege for us to be nominated in the first place but to win was amazing.

Quiz Show Mash Up

It’s that time of the month again…Meet’n’ Greet is here!
This month we have lined up a ‘Game Show Mash Up’! Ever wondered how you’d fare on ‘University Challenge’ or ‘Are you Smarter than a ten year old’??? From ‘Q.I’. to ’8 out of 10 Cats’…now you can!

People will be put into 2 teams and the Games will begin.
August 31st at 7pm in The Other Place.
2euro per person which goes directly to The Other Place, the community’s wonderful resource centre…

July Event: The Weakest Link

The Hunt Returns

2nd Annual treasure hunt hosted by the MeetnGreet team. Run around the city trying to find the answers to questions and clues. Ranging from simple to fiendish, you’ll be kept on your toes. Just for fun.

April Event: Going to the Funfair!

After last months Family Fortunes event, the next MeetnGreet event is a trip to Funderland. We’ll be going on Wednesday April 27. We shall be meeting at The Other Place Cafe at 6pm, 8 South Main Street and we’ll make our way to the grounds together. You can meet us there if you wish!

The cost is €19.95 and all rides are free, but if you don’t want to do that you can just pay a €1.50 entry fee and then pay as you go for the rides.

Following on from last months epic Music Quiz. Meet N Greet will be hosting a Family Fortune night on Wednesday March 30th.

It will take place in The Other Place, 6 South Main Street, Cork from 7pm.

A great event is planned and there is plenty of opportunity to make new friends and enjoy yourselves.

December Event – The Lyrics Board!

Our final meeting of the year takes place on Wednesday 8th of December at 7pm in the Other Place on South Main Street.

We will be playing the Lyrics Board! Some of you may remember the series, others may not, but a fun, song and laughter will certainly be involved as we finish up for Christmas!

The next Meet N Greet event will be held on Wednesday 24 November at 7pm in The Other Place Cafe on 8 South Main Street.

This months theme is Board Games! We will be playing Board Games both new and old! Some of the games will include, Jenga, Operation, Cluedo and Mousetrap!

So come along and relive your childhood memories and of course meet new people!
